Jet of Honor Jr “Junior” is an awesome, God given gift. He’s done so much for me and is definitely capable of changing the leader board. But over the last couple of years we’ve been hit or miss. We may run a good solid 1D time, and then feel fortunate to fall somewhere in the 2D. At ABRA National Finals in Tulsa, Kirk treated Junior with stretch massage and the Alpha Sonic machine on Thursday and he received an Alpha Sonic treatment before each race. Junior was awesome! He qualified by placing 7th in the 1D the first go, (300+ entries) tipped a barrel with pilot error to finish in the 1D second go and placed 6th in the short go against salty competition. He came home happy and energetic, not tired and worn out like he has in the past after 3 day events. I honestly believe that Junior thinks Kirk is his own personal property, he gets very excited to see Kirk and soaks up his treatments like a thirsty sponge. Junior was not the only horse I saw benefit from the Alpha Sonic and massage therapy. At just that one race I personally saw three other horses that were body sore loosen up, feel better and make competitive runs that got faster each trip after their treatments. We believe in Kirk and the Alpha Sonic. Junior was consistent, tough and actually enjoying his job.
December 3rd, 2007 our open horse, Jet of Honor Jr (Junior) showed signs of colic. We had him treated for what appeared to be a minor impaction and watched him. Junior wasn’t eating nor drinking at all. The next day he was no better, our vet decided to run fluids to him by a tube twice daily to keep him from dehydrating. By December 5th we noticed swelling in his throat and determined that Junior was not eating or drinking due to the discomfort of swallowing. All four of his legs began swelling. We were fairly certain we would end up at an equine hospital. Kirk began treating him with the Alpha Sonic and the swelling was definitely reduced by morning. Junior was suffering from a bacterial infection that had gone systemic. Junior’s throat, jaws and his legs would swell, but Kirk treated him daily and kept the swelling under control. He began drinking on his own and was eating small portions by the third treatment. The infection broke through within 3 days, we continued the Alpha Sonic treatments and the results were phenomenal. We literally watched the infection pour from him during treatments and the relief Junior felt was evident in his facial expressions and his demeanor. He would relax, ‘lick and chew’ and would rest well for the night. His appetite and water intake increased each day and the swelling in his legs completely disappeared. Junior is now recovered, bright eyed and happy and back to ruling our pasture.

I first met Kirk in Claremore. I had two horses in pain and no answers. He worked on both horses, taking much time to teach me what I could do to help my horses stay in. He explained everything to me as he worked and encouraged me to learn. He is the ONLY person who has ever worked on my horses and taught me how to maintain the good condition. Kirk is also the ONLY one who will ever work on them from now on.
Since then, Kirk has become a friend to me and I enjoy seeing him, Kelly and Cody whenever possible. Kirk introduced me to Express Lane Barrel Clinics by Kendra Dickson. He helped me to enroll in the clinic in Kellyville. I learned more than I ever thought possible and Kirk was there every step of the way helping people and helping horses with “people” problems.
God Bless Kirk Davis in all that he does.

I can personally testify that I spent over $1,000 (with vets, etc.) on one of my horses trying to figure out why she would come up lame, stayed sore all the time, and became very difficult to get into an arena. And no one had any answers. Then I met Kirk at one of the Big Shows at the OKC Fairgrounds. Within one hour he had my mare licking her lips and so relaxed that I had to hold her head up off the ground. I was at the event for 3 days and made the best runs in the coliseum I had every made and was able to get in the arena with no help. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD EVER MADE IT BACK TO THE SHORT GO AT OKC. And Kirk was there with me every step of the way. Since my mare had been in soooo much pain, he made sure that she got a massage and stretched (if needed) before each run and at evening feeding time each day and then he went over her from head to toe before I loaded her in the trailer to go home. Kirk not only made my horse feel better but he was right there to encourage me to have faith in myself and my abilities. I have never had anyone go to such extreme measures as he did and does. I WASN’T THE ONLY ONE THAT GOT THIS “ROYAL TREATMENT” EVERY HORSE AND RIDER WAS TREATED EQUALLY. And it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg……

I wanted to give you an update on the mare you worked on for us in Derby last weekend. We see a very big difference in her. We started exercising her Monday. Starting out ponying her slow and worked up to long trotting. Massaging and stretching before and after. She is more relaxed and taking the best stride I’ve seen from her in weeks. We plan to stay off her back until at least the weekend. I really appreciate you coming to the house Sunday to work on her again. Hope you and your wife visit our Central 4D’s again.
Thanks again,
